Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was taken out of Sunday's game wearing a protective boot on his left foot.
He is likely to miss extended time due to an ankle sprain. Head coach Sean McVay acknowledged on Monday that Kupp will be out for an extended time.
He made the same declaration for offensive lineman Jonah Jackson and safety John Johnson as the two are dealing with shoulder injuries and may sit with their teammate Kupp, on injured reserve.
While none of these are thought to be season-ending, this now marks the third straight injury-marred season for Kupp since his dominant 2021 Super Bowl run.
The 0-2 Rams now have added insult to injury with key players like Kupp, sensational second-year standout Puka Nacua and others going down. Their O-line remains thinned by injuries to Joe Noteboom, Steve Avila and Jackson.
